She looked at me – right at me, with those beautiful brown eyes. She didn’t even have her glasses or her hearing aids on. She walked over to me and knelt down on the floor with me, still looking at me.

She rocked slowly side to side with me, still looking. Her eyes are amazing. It was like there was no one else in the world. Nothing else mattered for that brief moment.

She stared intently at my eyes and then reached her little hands up, and touched my eye, as though inspecting it. Then she took both of my hands in hers and placed them on my cheeks and smiled curiously.

She repeated this ritual three or four times, and then buried her forehead in my chest, the way she does.

I could have stayed with her like that forever. Absorbed in her touch and her smile. Absorbed in her warmth, in her love. I want to live in that moment for eternity.

In a person’s lifetime there may be not more than half a dozen occasions that he can look back to in the certain knowledge that right then, at that moment, there was room for nothing but happiness in his heart.”

Don’t those precious moments make all the
    Difficult ones nearly disappear ?
Ahh…. It’s a feeling so close to what heaven
    must feel like.
